A key part of Seevirtual360's Virtual Tour solution is its
Java-based viewing technology. For the Virtual Tour to function
properly on your computer it may be necessary to update files
in Internet Explorer. Recently Explorer updates have been causing
problems with Java Appletts. Follow the below instructions and
if this does not fix the problem., Please feel free to call
us at: 604-575-1244 or toll free: 1-866-251-1244.
To use this upgrade you must have Internet Explorer version
4.01 or later. If you are not sure what version you have, open
Internet Explorer and go to the help menu and click on About
Internet Explorer. This upgrade is only applicable for Win 95,
98, ME, XP, NT4.0 users. If you are running Windows 2000 you
can download the upgrade from Java.sun.com.
To ensure the tours will run properly on your machine, click
on the download now button.
Download and install
now (Choose run program from
current location, when you
are done you will need to restart
you computer)
We have also recieved questions regarding
floorplan and other buttons on the tours. If the button is 'greyed'
out, this means that the option is not available on that tour.
If you cannot view the large still images, first try to double
click on the thumbnail images. Depending on your internet speed
you may need to wait a few seconds for the popup images to be
visible. If this does not work, you may have a popup blocker
set to block popup images. There is a popup blocker in Internet
Explorer, under tools/popup blocker at the top of your browser.
Some virus scan software and some spyware software also can
have this option and you may need to check with your setup instructions
to adjust or disable it.
Another common problem with the still images is that the browser will
drop the image to the bottom task bar (bottom of your screen) the image will change in the browser
but not be visible because it is minumized. Clicking on the slideshow button to view the stills should
fix this problem.
Mac Users: If you are experiencing problems viewing the Virtual Tours or static shots, please try downloading the Safari browser from www.apple.com.
